The Voice Of Patriotism

There we saw the giants Numbers 13:3

For those that hear the voice of patriotism it comes with a voice that says, " I have to do this." It is not a soft whisper but a loud shout. It is not a gentle movement but a strong violent torrent that pulls them out.
This compelling thrust pulls them away from loved ones, apart from what is safe and calls them to fight the giants for us.

I say thank you for a heart that is willing to defend freedom and defeat the enemy. As the battle field rages on it takes a special person to do what they have done and I thank God daily for their brave heart.

It Takes A Special Person

I wanted to say thank you
For all you've done for me.
For giving up the life you've known
In pursuit of liberty.

Each day I have my freedom
All because of you.
It takes a special person
To do the things you do.

When night time comes
I rest my head
Knowing you are there,
So willing to lay your life down
For a stranger over here.

Please know that God is with you
As you fight the enemy.
And everyday you do all you can
To try to keep me free.

Please know that while you're there
We haven't forgotten you.
Yes, it takes a special person
To do the things you do.

As night time fades to evening
And with the setting of the sun,
Our prayers are always with you
YOU are the special one.
