His Eye Is Upon Us.

I love them exceedingly Psalm 119:167

I was watching my one year old grand son the other night and wow what a night. I had forgotten the constant care and attention one must have to care for a toddler. From one edge of the house to the other he cruised around exploring, touching and investigating things. I found myself consistently walking behind him ready to catch him if he falls.

It makes me think of our heavenly Father. How peaceful it is for us to know that He loves us just the same. Thankfully we are not left to wander aimlessly. Oh how beautiful it is to know that His constant eye is upon us always ready to catch us if we fall.

His loving kindness embraces us when we fail. His word is forever available to guide our rebellious steps. His voice is a caring echo for us to follow. His encouragement is never ending and leads us home. As often as I hold my grandson, pull him close and sing a tender lullaby our heavenly Father does the same.


Father,

We are the object
Of Your affection.
The choice
For all Your love.

We are identified
With Jehovah.
Our God and Savior
Up above.

Your constant eye
Is upon us.
Your loving care
Never ends.

You are our one
True love song.
And our love
Will never end.
