When Was The Last Time Your heart Was Broken?

them that are of a broken heart Psalm 34:18

When was the last time your heart was broken? In our humanness we think of a person that might have broken our heart. We most naturally reflect to the agony that was brought upon us and try to bury the hurt from another.

But what if we were to relate this to the spiritual sense? My hope is that we are broken daily. For it is in this brokenness that we give God our all and make Him our all. But unless we are willing to be broken we can never give 100%.

It is only at the throne that we can find this brokenness. God's grace is poured out there. If we are to define this brokenness it is having a heart that is moved, touched and shattered constantly by life's daily events. This brokenness is wrapped in a boldness that calls out to all believers to commune at the cross.

So this is a request to throw down a commitment that can't be matched. And if you do you will have a holy closeness to Father. You will want Him more and seek the world less. Each day you will have a hunger that can not be quenched until you commune.

This brokenness will allow you to experience the presence of Christ as you fellowship with the keeper of your soul. His humanity will become your humility and you will be changed forever.

If I have convinced you that it is in this broken heart that you will find Christ then do something about it. Call out to Father in a new way. Declare with all your heart that this is a great day, a new beginning and a new life in Christ.

Father,

I hunger for Your touch
And I will not rest.
For it is only in Your presence
That I am truly blessed.

Remind me of this daily.
Bring me to the throne.
My heart is laid before You.
I am ready to come home.
