Let Him Occupy

When I was building my house seven years ago it came time to dig the well. When I asked for the cost the owner could only estimate the final bill. It depended on how deep they had to go before they hit water.

This made me ask a question. How deep would God have to go before you experience the living water? How deep does he have to drive the word before it touches your heart?

Have you turned calloused, superficial or distant from God? Are His visitations on occasion or do you constantly seek to dwell beside still waters? I guess what I am saying is do you long for His voice?

Sometimes the rush of the day and the things that we allow to become priorities push God to the side. So ask yourself this question, " Does God reside at the center of your world?

Brothers and sisters, Holy saints I can relate. I was so far out of balance that God had to take someone dear to my heart away. Before he chooses to take what you hold the most dear to your life away repent. let the living water be something that refreshes you daily.

When we choose to idolize anything and everything but Father he will act. When we seek worldly riches and not His richness He will move. When we choose to give Him moments and not a constant occupation He will respond.

Let Him reside, take ownership, and dominate. Let Him occupy.

Father,

Brake me down.
You know what to do.
To make me repent
And come running home to You.

Let me find the living water
Right at the surface.
I surrender all
And make You my purpose.

Fill me with Your presence
And touch my wandering heart.
Come now Lord I'm ready
We have so much love to impart.
