The Impact Of Singing

But as for me, I will sing each morning of your power and mercy. For you ave been my high tower of refuge. Psalm 59:16

I wonder how many of us realize the impact of singing to the Lord. God doesn't care if we sound like a lark or sing like a frog. It is freeing to sing if we don't care what we sound like. What He cares about is the condition of our heart.

When we sing with our heart we are set free to meet god in the heavenlies. Negative emotions can not exist in this state. Praise becomes a friend, a deep intimate friend. Satan is defeated when we sing. Chains are set free when we sing. We climb the stairs to the high towers when we sing. So go ahead make a joyful noise.

Father,

I can't go a day
Without sing Your praise.
It fills my heart with love
In so many ways.

Your mercy enters in
And I can feel Your power.
I climb the steps and rest
And find refuge in Your tower.
