A restorer of thy life Ruth 4:15
It seems like such a simple act. All one must do is strike a yes when asked to be a doner. A chance to give life through my death. What difference does it make to me, I'm dead. But if I can give something, anything then take it all.
Does that sound familiar? There was another that thought that way. For over thirty years He had to live with his fate. He knew the weight that someday would fall upon Him.
Yet, His willing heart was the ultimate example of a care giver. A life from beginning to end born to sacrifice. It took far more courage to be a living sacrifice. Far more love to carry the cross up that hill. Far more discipline to not run away.
He paid the price for all humanity. He paved the way with crimson blood. This truth, this unmitigated absolute truth can not be denied. Let us walk worthy of these facts.
Let our light so shine that when we leave a room a voice will scream, " I want more of them because they show me Jesus. I want more of them because they are a voice of encouragement, laughter and love."
He paid the price for all humanity.
He paid the price with crimson blood.
There is no other explanation
But to simply call it love.
Life through death is now His offer.
His willing heart has paid the price.
All we must do is say the words
And then proclaim His glorious life.
My heart once dead now overflowing.
A heart once lost now found.
I need not hang upon the cross.
For He has given me His royal crown.
My King, my love, my glorious Father
It is now I understand,
Life through death is now your offer,
So now I'll take your outstretched hand.
