Could You Do It?

Christ died for the ungodly Romans 5:1

You want to know the amazing thing about the Easter message? Not only did Christ die for our sins but He did it while were still sinners. It is one thing to die for a righteous man, a good man but this retched, ugly man such as I stands amazed that I didn't have to clean up my act, say anything correctly or do anything. He came for the lost souls and gave them a home.

Here is the other amazing thing. So many of us try everything but Christ to fill our lives. Their attitude is " You name it I want to try it. You have it I want it." Oh our Father is so patient and so loving to wait for us to come to the end of ourselves. But we were never made to be satisfied by self. That is not the way God wired us.

A man unchanged by God is unable to understand the things of God. But when we allow ourselves to be filled with Christ we then can be redeemed into Spiritual life. God sent Jesus Christ to be perfect in every way. Having been saved we are in His deity and His perfection.

Then, when Christ invades your life He lives through you. God, who lives in us, does all the work according to His purpose. Everything we have been called to do is in you and we are prepared to do it.

Father,

I thank you for your invasion
Deep into my soul.
Now we walk together
And I am now whole.

The spirit lives within me.
And I have your perfection.
Now I will look to You
For all of my directions.
