Practice Makes Permanent

Shall love thy neighbor Romans 13:9

There is an old phrase, and I bet you have heard it before, and it goes like this, " Practice makes perfect."But I have to ask, what if we are practicing the wrong things? I would much rather say, " Practice makes permanent." Therefore, we better be practicing the right things.

One of the right things to be practicing is to be other centered. So what do you say? Can you be other centered for one hour tomorrow? That means you are not going to think about food for yourself but food for the hungry. You are not going to think about the clothes you have but you are willing to give away the clothes you have to someone less fortunate. You are not going to think about the hurt in your heart but you are going to help mend the hole in someone elses heart.

Let God use you today. There are endless possibilities when we think this way. There are so many people hurting, emotionally, physically and spiritually that we could be busy all year. Surely you now just one that you could bring a smile to. Surely you know someone who needs a little more hope. See how easy it is to point someone to the cross?

There are a multitude of people that don't know how to continue. Can you hear their voices? Satisfaction comes in many shapes when we are doing the work of our Father. A sacrificial heart, a serving heart is a beautiful heart to behold.

The voice of the encourager needs to be heard. It unites the lost and helps them go forward. Go touch people. Not physically but spiritually because when you do at the end of the day giving becomes your gift to the world.

But somehow,
