The Scalding Truth

He has also set eternity in their heart. Ecclesiastes 3:11

Did you catch that? God has placed within each one of us His imprint. I find that re-assuring when I think of my wayward, wandering teens. But it also means that I have to trust His perfect timing that they will hear His voice and seek His hand. Beyond their party hardy mentality lies questions that they will seek answers to.

Those questions always lead us back to God. The hunger that once was in our heart is in theirs. The empty pit at the bottom of their lives is within them. All of us at one time wandered and all will wonder. The scalding truth is God is in control.

In addition, what this scripture tells me is to be ready.We must be prepared to share the good news when the co-workers heart is being pricked. When they have reached rock bottom and are ready to climb out of the mess they have created we have to be at the edge of the pit with our stretched hand.

Our spiritual eyes must see the heart that is hurting. We must be available. Our heart needs to hear the lonely cries of the lost. Remember, even the best teacher is of no use if they are not available. Our heart must be completely His. And the peace that is as deep as the darkness in the jungle will be theirs forever more.

In His perfect timing
And by His perfect plan
All will sometime seek Him.
The ruler of this land.

May my heart stand ready
To help them hear His voice.
To guide them through rough waters
And help them make a Kingdom choice.

My friend, my friend lets be prepared
To just be used.
So they don't end up in satans den
And live a life of abuse.

And in His perfect timing.
And by His perfect plan
Eternity awaits
The sinner that takes His hand.
