Everything Is Possible

Everything is possible for him who believes Mark 9:23

John Roebling and his son Washington understand these words completely. They are the founders of the Brooklyn Bridge. As a young engineer John dreamed of bridging the river thereby  bringing Manhattan Island to Brooklyn, New York.

Of course all the experts denounced him and said a 1595 foot expanse would never withstand the harsh winds and the rough tides. But John Roebling and his son Washington had a dream and they never caved in. Yet, during construction tradgedy struck, John was killed and his son Washington was left with permanent brain damage.

All seemed lost and to the last man the project was done accept for the dream begun by his father. Young Washington discovered that he could communicate by touching his wife's arm with one finger. In 1883, thirteen years later ,traffic poured across the Brooklyn bridge. When Washington was told the dream was completed he wept.

So my Christians friends I must say the barriers of latitude and longitude melt away when we follow God's plan everyday. Everything is possible. It is in the quietness of the night that you will hear His voice. Listen, and let Him guide your every step.

With a clear vision, a dream in your heart and a hunger in your soul you can fly with the eagles. God can achieve when we believe. Deep within every man powered by the movement of Gods hand is greatness. Go live your destiny.

Deep within all of us
Is the power to achieve.
Great and glorious wonderful acts
If we will just believe.

In the mighty name of Jesus
Let us all proceed
Everything is possible
When we choose to let God lead.
