Look To The Heaven's

God of hosts, hear my prayer Ps 84:8

One of the words to describe my seventeen year old son would be relentless. When he has you zeroed in and dialed up for something he wants he never let's up. Like a pounding wave on the edge of the beach he wears you down.

Sometimes, we treat prayer like that. Like a battering ram that won't let up we beseech and request until we are out of breath.

Unanswered prayer is for a definite reason. They are refused because of sin in our lives, selfishness in our heart, doubt in our belief and disobedience in our actions. When God is silent it is because of His all knowing understanding of us.

Rest assured there is something He wants to teach us, show us and grow in us. Look to the Heaven' s and listen intently to what He wants. Ultimately, the gates will open, God will appear and you will have an answer. Until that time just remember that God's grace is sufficient.

Father,
I thank you for the times
that I never heard Your voice.
For in Your understanding
it was the perfect choice.

All was meant to shape me
and make me understand
that in those quiet moments
You were carving out a better man.
