Wrapped In The Safety Of God's Arms

he will have no fear of bad news. Psalm 112:7

When was the last time you did something foolish? This morning I woke up to a down pour of rain. Forgetting that my drivers side wiper had quit working two weeks earlier I hopped in my car for an 8:15 appointment.

It was a lite sprinkle of rain that fell upon me as I drove with determination to " get there." Ten minutes into my journey, I was leaning desperately to the right with hopes of seeing out of the riders window.

At forty miles an hour under a lite rain it was manageable. But as I approached the freeway I was engulfed with a deluge of water. Thirty minutes away from home faced with a hard down pour it was " Cry out to Jesus" time.

My exact words were, " Oh come on Lord, help me out here." Within fifty feet of declaring my helplessness God placed me in a traffic jam. Now I could travel at a reduced speed and I cruised to my appointment on eagles wings and wrapped in the safety of God's arms.

How great it is to have a God that is intimately involved with our lives. His grace is all sufficient in all ways. As Christians running to, bowing down and crying out to Jesus are actions and attitudes we should have on a moment by moment basis.

It is the lost that do this only when in need. It is the unGodly that reject Christ when things don't go their way. When tested it is the sinner that rebels. It is the unsaved that complains when circumstances rise up against them.

Let us remember it is the saint that shows constant humbled hope. Let us never show a nervous sweat but a look of peaceful consonance. It is easy to praise Him in the sanctuary but deny Him in the street. To magnify God let us never cry to the multitudes.

Stand strong in the troubled times. Cry out to the only true Savior this world will ever know. Be still and let God appear.

In times of trouble
when all seems lost
I will run to You.
I will not rebel
as the sinner
is opt to do.

I will fall upon
the risen Savior
and rest my weary head.
All because my Jesus died
and all because He bled.

Do not drive faster than your angels can fly.

May God always be at your side.

You are surrounded by angels. May they always watch over you and protect you. For you are a precious Child of God!

Blessings,
me
