One of my favorite motivational speakers is Zig Zigler. I love his phrase that says " We have to have a check up from the neck up." The simple phrase causes me to put the spot light on my spiritual walk.

My confession is, over the years, my desire to achieve, attain, aspire and accomplish created a walk that was mediocre. My misguided skewered pursuits pushed me to be sold out for self rather then sold out for Christ.

But a funny thing happened after I rededicated my life to Christ. After loosing everything that meant anything to me I surrendered everything over to Christ. He became my one and only pursuit. Intimacy with Father became my only desire. To this day nothing else matters.

Me penetrating request became to know God in a deeper way. This has become my greatest hope, to be sold out to the one that sold everything for us. So how can I attempt to put this into words? How can I explain what I have found in Christ? How can I capture the intimacy and the delicate rewards that I have been granted?

Not one human touch, smile or breath of laughter can ever come close to what I have freely received. He is mine and I am His. Subtly He has become my all. I humbly bow down to be His faithful servant for the rest of my days. I ask for but one thing and that is to maintain this deep hunger within my soul for the rest of my days. Now, I only want to dance in His arms and fall into His presence. Come dance with me.



Intimacy with Christ.
This is my desire.
To hunger for Him
To always be on fire.

To pursue the Kingdom.
To reach for His hand.
To want for nothing
but to know this man.
