Are You Beating Yourself Up?

and it shall be forgiven him. Lev. 5:16

You ever know anybody that lived in the past? They were ones to relive all the mistakes they made. Weather it was their words or their actions they just couldn't let it go.

For God to use us we must not continue to abuse us. That is being Satan bound and Satan kept. If our sins are cast out from the east is from the west then we have to believe that God can do this great feat. God is capable of blotting out our sins and so should we. We are pardoned by the blood and forgiven of all sins.

Yet, Satan is a master at wrapping us up in the chains of the past so we won't be set free. Set free to move from our own self centeredness to other focus. Our view needs to be forward thinking rather then one eye in the mirror.

If I am called to forget
the old things of the past.
The old pain , the old hurt,
that none of that will last.

Then God's protective hand
will be with me everyday.
In all the things I try to do.
In all the things I say.

With victory and joy
as bright as the shining sun.
I will live each day with a smile
and fill each hour with some fun.

My thoughts will be of good times
as surely I had my share.
My heart will look for others
to tell them how much I care.

And if in fact I learn these things.
And I really do all this.
Then God will erase the pains of the past
and seal it with a kiss.
