Internal Investigation

For I am not afraid of the Gospel. Romans 1:16

There was a time in my life that I was unwilling and afraid to let Jesus show. As a manager with an insurance company it was my job to train in the field. One particular day I remember in specifics that I turned the station on my car radio rather then let the new recruit know I was listening to a Christian radio station.

When we have something we are excited about we let it show. We can't wait to get to work and puff out our chest and show that new car, boat, baby. The list goes on and on. So I have to ask the tough question. Is Jesus coming out. ? Am I letting my non-Christian friends know that I know Him? Do they know where I stand? Am I planting seeds for the Kingdom?

Internal investigation is hard. The revealing and convicting interrogation from the Lord can only be accomplished if number one we are ready for the truth and two our maturity level is capable of accepting what is revealed.

Is Jesus coming out?
Does He walk with you today?
Is He at the core of all you do?
At the center of all you say?

Do you light up like a lamp
with just the mention of His name?
Do all your friends know
you will never be the same?

When Jesus rules your life
and you always let Him lead.
You will never be ashamed
and look to plant a seed.
