The Other side Of Divorce

Now that the days have faded and I am on the other side of divorce I have to ask myself what are the lessones I have learned from all of this? What is it that God has wanted to teach me? How has He used these circumstances to reach me? I am the first to tell you that I proclaimed Jesus but I have to ask did I live Him? It is no longer enough to be a Sunday saved. It is no longer enough to close my eyes to the very spiritual gifts He as given but I was too busy to use.

A.W. Tozar wrote " Increasing number of Christians are becoming ashamed to be found unequivocally on the side of truth. They say they believe but their beliefs have become so diluted as to be impossible to clear definition." Tozar tells us " to stand firm on the word of God that lives and abides forever."

The Apostle Paul told a young preacher named Timothy to "hold fast to the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith, and love which are in Christ Jesus." 2 Tim. 1:13


What is it that God in His infinite wisdom has given to me? An awareness. A voice that listens instead of talks. It comes from within me when I rise up and when I walk. I have an assurance that God is in control. A breathe of confidence in Him that can't be shaken, can't be questioned. I have a strength that can't be matched. I see rainbows even when it does not rain. Promises that God has gone before me to prepare a way for me.

My soul is full with anticipation for Christ. Worry never enters my mind. Hope is eternal and painted with colars that laugh at adversity. messages from Christ leap out at me daily. I have found God and it is a beautiful sight.

To be sold out for Christ
is to step aside
and let God rule your life.
For to be called a Christian
in name only
is not enough.
We must stand on the word boldly.

Let us stand feet forward
to the cross.
Eyes upward,
heart open,
soul searching
for Jesus.
