thy servant hath found grace. Gen 19:19
Years ago I took a trip to Las Vegas. It was a trip designed to get away and catch some shows
and relax. At the Balagio Hotel we caught a renowned display of all of the masterpieces. This was an art show like no other. From Dugas to Monet all of the best were there. Words such as glorious, great, rich would not do justice to these masterpieces.
Those are the very words used to describe our grace that we receive from our Lord. God's grace, glorious grace is a gift like no other. In His eyes we stand clean and we are a masterpiece. We are the object of attention. We receive His forgiving mercy.
Ever stop to think what your life would look like without grace? My wrong deeds, hurtful words and actions would be a picture that I would never want to dredge up.
But grace takes my stark retched body off the cross and portrays me as a masterpiece. I become a renowned sought after priceless prize.
Wisdom tells me to respect grace. My heart tells me to embrace grace. My conscience tells me to remember grace. My tears tell me to capture grace.
I am a priceless prize
and the price tag is grace.
I am a masterpiece replaced by God's face.
And yes there are things today
I can not comprehend.
Accept I am washed by grace
and can only say amen.
