Broken Bread and Poured Out Wine

And when He comes He will convict the world of sin. John 16:8

Have you ever had the correction of sin? have you ever been thrown against the wall weeping in a crumpled heep? That is the way correction came to me. Oswald Chambers puts it this way:
Very few of us know anything about the correction of sin. We know the experience of being disturbed because we have done something wrong, but conviction of sin blots out every relationship on earth and leaves one relationship only. Against thee, thee only have I sinned. The miracle of redemption is that God turns me the unHoly into the standard of Himself, the Holy One , putting into me the new disposition, the disposition of Jesus Christ. "

What I am discovering is it is a humbling experience. I am no longer the man that wants to be identified with the big house to feed my ego. God had to strip me of all of my material possessions to set me free and make the man that He could use for the cause of Christ. The finantial planner had to be bankrupt. The man that made more money than more than 1% of the population had to be reduced down to giving plasma to feed his boys. He had to ask more than once for the church, his family and his friends to carry him through Humbled to the point of brokeness. Emptied out for the cause of Christ. All for God to come along and rebuild the one who rebelled.

I had a hole in my human spirit. A hole that could only be filled with the love of Christ. I now know that I have a radical and compelling vision of what it means to be filled to the absolute core with Jesus Christ.

I now hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit. It comes with a request to completely trust God in an accepting way.It is a gentile reminder that only God will be in control. Only God is what I need.
When the Holy Spirit indwells you will be overwhelmed by the softness, quietness and stillness. It is evidence of god's depth of love for us. Let it work it's way through you completely engulfing you. It is complete elove with a illumination of Christ Himself. Given to correct and guide us in this journey we call life. Surrendering to it means that we are one step away from embracing God. For God is enough. I now find more joy sitting silently still letting God speak to me through His word than anything else I can possible imagine. I want to maintain my broken spirit, my repentive heart because God is enough. he has become my focus.

With Arms Around Jesus

All kinds of emotions are raging inside.
All kinds of voices are crowding my mind.

were all against Christ.
The things that I did
affected my life.

to walk down this road.
I never thought forgiveness
was something I was owed.
But Jesus came to me
erased all my pain.
He's given me a reason
to start life again.

So teach me thy statutes
eliminate my grief.
Your soothing hand
will be my relief.
The law of thy word
is better to me
than silver and gold
help me always to see.
