weeping may remain for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning.Psalm 30:5
As a child growing up on Lake Minnetonka it was a daily routine to go fishing. One morning while still half asleep I cast anchor without realizing the rope was not tied down. So adrift I went tossed which ever way the wind desired.
As Christians, we have the anchor that drives all maladies away. No matter what trials we face we can stand strong and be courageous. We need not be tossed about by life's challenges. Our Father does not want us to shrivel up like plastic wrap near a hot fire. It actually offends Him when we shrink back.
We have seen the hero's of 911. We have heard their stories and bought their books. When God sends cancer to your door show courage in the storm. Display strength when your loved one walks out. We can be that light that leads others through the darkness of despair.
Those that sow hope will reap their just reward. The sun will come up tomorrow. It always does.Darkness will disappear. It eventually does. Those trials will become a fleeting moment erased by God's hand.
Christian, God is all we need no matter what dungeon your head rests in. Sing this in the valley and soar above the mountains.
Father,
I will walk with courage
when the storms of life come.
I will rest in Your loving arms.
I will not run.
The world will see a man
completely dedicated to You.
No matter what my struggles are
I know You will bring me through.
