Which Way Is Your Magnet Pointing?

So that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom but on God's power. 1st. Cor 2:5

Although it has been many years since I was in 7th grade science class the impact of polarity still rings true with a great message. Turn the magnets in the positive direction and along they go in co-existence. But turn them against each other and look out.

Applying this to Christian principles we can easily see that we need to erase our double mindedness of our lives. To be in polarity with Christ we need to solely seek the Lord with all of our heart. If we will draw near and receive His closeness He will lift us up and exalt us.

There is no short cut to the process because the only way to intimacy is to humble ourselves in complete brokenness. So which way is your magnet pointing. Are your feet running to the cross everyday? Do you sing a song of repentance on occasion or often?

When our Father hears the prayers of repentance He will look down upon us from heaven and then and only then will He release His blessings. God is waiting to do so much. Run to Him.

Father,

Like a big magnet
I want to be an attraction.
I've lived the life of resistance
And I have been a distraction.

I surrender everything.
I give You all of my heart.
Wash me and cleanse me
So I can shine with a new start.
