As a young childhood actress she won the hearts of many. With a killer smile and curls that captured you who couldn't fall in love with her. Her singing was pitch perfect and she never missed a dance step.

As an adult Shirley Temple went on to win the hearts of many across the world as she was an ambassador for the United States. Who better than her to present the United States as a loving and caring country. With dignity and grace she spent her life promoting our country.

The emphasis of the passage above comes as a command from the King of Kings. This demand to follow is an adamant request from Father. It comes with a desire to see all of us as ambassadors for Christ. Such an act of surrendered obedience delights Him.

The King has to be in His kingdom. God's intention and will for us is to make us into something we could not be on our own.

So how about you? Does your heart beat with the heart of Jesus Christ? When it does He will give you great purpose. He will show you how to imitate the very heart, soul and mind of Christ. You and I are the second incarnate of Jesus Christ. This is why we are called, " Jars of clay." It is so that He can mold His heart, His soul and His mind deep within us.

So how are you measuring up? When you go to your sons baseball game is it with the mind of Christ to share the good news? When you step into your office do you mentally stop and say, " Prepare ye the way?"

Are you a good fisherman?

I want to be an ambassador for Christ.

I want to be a fisherman of men.
I want to reach out again and again.

When my mind says I'm not worthy.
When satan speaks his lies.
Help me to be an ambassador for Christ
And make Jesus my battle cry.
