To Know, Know, Know You

as the Lord loves Hosea 3:1

Years ago there used to be an old love song that had the phrase, " To know ,know, know you is to love, love, love you yes I do." To know Jesus is to love Him. To know that He drapes His arm around us as we walk through the valleys is to love Him.

To welcome the Prince of peace and embrace the Savior of the world is to love Jesus. Jesus is not a name in a popular book but a vibrant essence to enhance every breath you take.The more you know, know, know Him the more you love, love , love Him and I do. How about you?

Therefore brethren we have an obligation Rm. 8:12. Does it seem out of reach to love as the Lord loves? My fellow sinful saints it is not in the act of our love but our intent to love that God looks at.

God sees our heart. He knows how often our thoughts dwell on His goodness or if we wander away everyday. He knows if we give Him quiet moments or if we skitter and scatter aimlessly about.

This act of loving Him comes as natural as breathing if we abide in Him. Find the time to cultivate a burning love or else life becomes unacceptable. Weep for His commitment to the cross and you will love Him incessantly.

Father,

Tears roll down my cheek
As I weep for all You have done.
In these quiet moments
I stand with the Savior, the Son.

I plead with You my Father
To take my love deep into Your soul.
This is my desire
And it is my only goal.
