God Knows

He knows the way that I take. Job 23:10

When I agreed to help my brother-in-law move to California we routed the trip for a quick stop in Vegas. I was under age so it was no big deal to me. This was before the days of having a casino in every town so there was a big attraction to him. To this day I still remember the illumination of the city for miles and miles.

He knows the way that I take. Did you catch that Christian? God knows. He knows the road that leads you away from Him. He is not surprised by anything that we do. Not one sinful act catches Him off guard or by surprise.

Because He knows we can never be lost. His eye is constantly upon us. His hand is always available. His arms are like a loving father reaching down to his infant child. What a picture of love this is.

The most decadent sin, the darkest valley, our most unpardonable act washed in His blood.

Father,

Your eye is constantly upon us.
So I rest now in Your care.
You light my path with Your presence.
Where I am going
You have already been there.

I rest now in Your arms.
And completely trust in You.
Light my way and showme
All that You want me to do.
