Seek ye me and ye shall live. Amos 5:4
I've heard it said by many a Chritians that they wish to travel to the Holy land. They wish to walk the every hallowed ground that Jesus walked. They want to take the journey and their desire is to commune with God.
History does not confine God or define Him. Our goal should be God and God alone and not what His hand can provide at the end of the alter. We need not travel anywhere to find Him.
God is in the quiet moments at the end of our day. He is right beside you in everything that you say. Make God your goal. Seek not what He can give to you but what you can bring to Him. What can you bring to the cross today?
The most captivating touch I have ever felt is when my wife leaned upon my chest and gently kissed my bosom. Let God captivate you. Feel His presence and sense His security when we lean upon Him with our cares and concerns. And then, listen as He calls your name in the quiet.
Father,
May I feel your breath upon my shoulders
And Your touch upon my heart.
May I sense the quiet understanding
That we will never part.
I want and wait for nothing
But Your presense when I walk.
And to know and understand You
In our private talks.
