Giddy Is Good

I will be their God and they will be my people 2 Cor. 6:16

I had the opportunity to have my grand son sleep over for the first time this weekend. He didn't just sleep over, he took over. You want to see adults get silly then put a baby in their arms. You want to talk about love out of control then just sit back and watch how easy a child crumbles the heart.

Joy walked in the room as soon as he arrived. All of lifes troubles, concerns and cares were erased. To have a love so free, so alive and vibrant.

When was the last time you acted that way with your heavenly Father? When was the last time you let Him thrill you? When was the last time you killed Him with affection?

This is an ingredient that others lack. But giddy is good. Like a small child that we hold in our arms let your feelings run out of control.

Our Father loves it when we are that way with Him. When we are set free to love Him it shows our adoration. Our gratitude overflows and falls at His feet. No matter what befalls me He is our everlasting help. He is our God and we are His people for eternity.

Call Him King and the great warrior has come to do battle for us. Call Him priest and He is the royal priesthood. Call Him servant and His love so shines.

Go ahead. Nobodies looking. Let your heart fly to Jesus and love Him up.
