The World Has It Flip Flopped

In the beginning... Gen. 1:1

Is it any wonder this world is messed up? From the very beginning we blow it. We seldom discuss how God was and always will be the beginning. He is the alpha and the omega. " I look in the mirror and what do I see? I see a man staring back at me." But what we should see is the image of God.

We are called to be transformed according to His image. Yet, at an early age our world becomes self centered. In the first two chapters in the bible God's name appears 46 times but we forget to make Him first and keep Him first. We always say in parting " Have a good day." But shouldn't it be " Have a God day?" Wouldn't that stand as an encouragement to keep God first in all that we do?

By keeping God first in our lives it gives Him proper authority, honor and the glory He so rightly deserves. We would start out the day first thanking God and end it singing praise.

Keep God first
In all that you do.
Do this consistently
And He'll come shining through.

In good times and in bad
You will hear His voice.
You will be walking in the spirit.
And you will make the right choice.

Declare in your heart
That He is number one.
Rejoice in the Savior
God's only Son.

Keep Him first
All through out the day
And you will know His Son
In a special way.
