Two Little words

Help Lord Psalm 12:1

Have you ever been praying with someone and they fill the room with a multitude of words? As if to impress they roll on forever.

David only needed two words to express his helpless, hopeless heart. When we are spent and emptied out God hears our cry. When nothing else makes sense God shows His presence.When God says '"Can you hear ME now, stop drop and listen. In fact, prayer is often times more listening and letting God move you than actual words.

When we are beyond our humanness God can sense our need for a Savior. Are you instant and anxious to cry out to Him? Are you riveted to the very power of these two simple words? The precious gift of deliverance is swift to appear when we are on our knee's with a plea in our voice. Cry once more to the one that died and do it daily. All God wants is for us to experience His presence.

Oh gracious Lord Heavenly Father
Sometimes I wonder why You bother.
I'm filled with self
And I often forget,
To slow down and pray,
Just quietly sit.

But You Oh Lord
Are a glorious wonder.
The author of life
And the maker of thunder.

And all You ask
Is that everyday,
I bring You my heart
When I pray.
