Abnormal Christianity

In today's world abnormal medical tests make us shake. Abnormal Christianity should do the same. Life without the Holy Spirit is abnormal.

Like the 6 cylinder engine that has blown a gasket we operate with less power. It is commanded that the fullness of the Spirit be within us. It is what we receive when we totally yield, surrender and obey.

The process of receiving the Holy Spirit is by the way of brokenness. The truth is the old nature is always vying to re-establish and take control. Each and everyday their needs to be a yielding. It starts with words such as " Lord, I willfully submit my mind and emotions to You. "

Engaging in surrender on a moment by moment basis allows Christ to control and self to evacuate. Then and only then can we run to Jesus. Then and only then can God capture our heart and own our thoughts.Thirst, drink and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Thirst, drink.
Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Sit still.
I am sure you will hear it.

The guiding hand
Of our loving Father
Is waiting to enter in.
To wash you and cleanse you
So you can begin again.
