For which of you , intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Luke 14:28
I have built the same house twice. The first time I miscalculated and came up short. The second time after learning from my mistakes, I walked away from closing with over $ 30,000 in my pocket.
Dealing with the city inspector was always trying times. Making everything up to code was critical. Being a novice I had to rely on their experience and their well trained eye.
There is going to come a time in my life when I will deal with another inspector. But this time it will be God that I will be accountable to. What ever I build here on earth for the kingdom better be up to code. What ever I touch must be wrapped with pure intention and heavenly desires.
"Our Lord implies that the only men and women He will use in His building enterprises are those that love Him personally, passionately and devoted beyond closely to any of the ties of earth. All that we build are going to be inspected by God. We can never work for God.
Jesus takes us over for His enterprises. His building schemes entirely and no soul has any right to claim where he shall be put. " Oswald Chambers.
Has Jesus taken you over? Are you willing to go where He sends you? Are you putting a filter on the messages He is sending you? Are you putting boundaries to His desires for your life? Sign your heart willing and ready and step back and watch God build the towers.
Heavenly vision Lord
this is what I seek.
I'm down on my knee's Lord
please make me weak.
Direct my thoughts
consume my heart
I approach in Jesus name.
Exploding with
Your fervent love
I will never be the same.
May I gaze upon Your beauty.
May I dwell in the house of the Lord.
May my heart be constantly seeking You,
For You are my just reward.
May I always be willing to travel
Whenever You say go.
And may my answer never be
No Lord, no.

Who said you weren't a carpenter?
You are building a mansion with your words and kind heart for you to live in all eternity in.
Keep hammering away. I can already see it almost done and in my opinion it is beautiful. Fit for a King.
Blessings for you always and for me for finding such a friend who is true to HIS heart.
