hath called you out of darkness. 1Peter 2:9 Ever think about how simple life was before you accepted Christ? In those days you could step out your door commit horrendous sins and not think anything of it. Certainly living with my fiance at age 21 it never dawned on me that I was breaking any rules. Those days I could throw open my windows and think anyway I wanted and not be held accountable. But being a Christian brings an ultimate destination. It brings with it a conscience and a judgement day. One is there to guide us and speak when wrong must turn to right. The other drives us to accountability, responsibility and righteousness. I am thankful that for me the miraculous happened. Seeds were planted and I began to be a closet Christian. My fiancee had no clue that I was reading the word. Conviction entered into the equation. Conscious begin to question and over come sin. My eternal destination was born and my ship set sail. My goal is to be like Christ. Forget my days of a sin stained life. Today I embrace the Saviour and I am running after His Son. Today I work for the Kingdom until my day is done. |
