On The Edge Of Dancing

We have found the Messiah John 1:41

Have you ever seen a young man's heart on the edge of dancing. I have had the opportunity to see this for the last two days. It is my oldest son. he was on MySpace two days ago and was contacted by someone he didn't know. This young fifteen year old knew intimate information about him and our family.

At the end my son politely asked " Should I know you." The teen shot back, " Yes, I am your sister." To a boy that came into my arms at one day old as my adopted son it was a bit of a shock. Although on occasion his birth mother would come up in conversation it was always fleeting with that look. " How could she ever do that to me." He never had any contact and never even thought about an additional family out there.

So for two days he has been glued to the computer sharing pictures and lengthy conversation. At one point I saw him staring, dreaming with the computer screen blank. I am elated that he is going to have some closure to a part of his life he never knew. He has always felt a sense of lose for a mother he never knew.

In addition it will bring a whole new world of smiles and hugs that he so dearly needs right now. There is a new bounce to his step. Tomorrow is the day they will meet. Tomorrow is the day he will be found.

Imagine how our Father feels when He finally reveals Himself to us and we accept Him as our Daddy. Like a movie played in slow motion ,revealing the resounding joy those first moments we believed on His Son. Imagine His smile when we know we are finally found. Imagine what it is like every time someone finally comes home to Him and their lost heart is surrendered to the cross and we stand completely ready to serve Him. Come on, close your eyes and imagine.

Lord,
You have called me
to your family
all for a specific purpose.

You have shown me
in Your word
I am not wothless.

Touch me,
call me ,
show me
my King.

How should I be used
I want to
serve you
in everything.
