Burt what ever was to my profit I have considered loss for the cause of Christ. Phil. 3:10 How many people do you know that are happy. They have the prize. They are not looking for anything else to get, to buy, to do or to be. They have a peace about them. They are content. Of course this is against all the advertising we see everyday. Yet, we are supposed to be happy in just knowing Christ in an intimate way. To feel His guiding touch upon our shoulder or His gentile kiss upon or cheek is far more satisfying than the big house, the mecedes in the driveway or the number one sales plaque on the wall. I have had all that but it means nothing. They are the filthy rags of materialism. Until you have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ it means nothing. So seek, knock, ask and find and you will have found a gratitude to the fullest. Whatever I gain by myself is useless and worthless to me. It brings no satisfaction. It took years but now I see. I've discovered a golden friendship that man cannot take away. I've surrendered all of myself to You. With a smile I do this each day. Let me drown myself in Your bossom. Let me be lost in Jesus Christ. For You alone are worthy the redeemer of my life. Brad McGill |
