Delight In The Lord

You are of Christ. 1st Cor. 3:23, In the process of building my house I was determined to find a jacuzzi that I could immerse myself in aroma therapy oils for the soothing, relaxing experience after a long day at work. After days of research I found one that was manufactured in Canada. Far short of hopping on a plane to test it out I found a spa here in town. Off I went with gym bag in tow and swimming trunks tucked inside to check it out. It was a delightful experience and now my master bath is like going on vacation. Often times when it is lightening or snowing I race to the jacuzzi to catch the show. These are the pleasures of life. But our earthly pleasures cannot exceed the pleasures we find in Christ. We are of Christ. Do you sense the power in those four little words? Our shackles are broken. Sin no longer holds us. We rise up to Heaven in every breathe. We are of Christ. Do your eyes see nothing less than a great, grand glorious God? We own something that can' t be bought, stolen or taken away. I have spent too much time in my life rejecting Christ. I now choose to rejoice and delight in Him. Nothing I own, nothing I seek and nothing I achieve will ever compare to knowing Him. When I drive with my knee's and my hands held up to Heaven let people look. I am busy rejoicing. When tears stream down and I have to pull my car over to even see, let people wonder. I am busy delighting in the Lord. I am of Christ and I delight in the Lord. There shall be no room for dark thoughts for I am of You. Rejoicing in our intimacy in everything You do. I stand upon the mountains and praise Your Holy name. Never once forgetting it was for me You came. All troubles left behind me as I dwell now at Your feet. Trusting in Your promises it is my soul that You shall keep.
