Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creature; old things have passed away. 2 Cor. 5:17
Sometimes I wonder how people make it through the day without Christ. How do they handle tragedy and despair? When they walk in the door to an empty house how do they survive without the walls crawling in on them?
Evade the truth., sidestep the reality of Christ and what do you have but a lost soul with no where to turn in times of trouble, no one to rejoice with in times of joy and an empty hardened heart in times of death.
When we fall on our face in desperate realization that we need a Savior this is the beginning to the end.,a n end to living for ourselves, an end to our self centered ways.
Only God can do the work of re-generation. This new beginning, this new birth is the start of our moral conscience to guide and direct our steps.
Since both my boys are adopted I have never had the privilege of birth. I have never wrapped my arms around a pregnant wife. I have never seen the seed grow into a newborn child.
But I have seen the process of regeneration. I have seen a sinner turned to a Saint. What a victory to see a changed life, to be a link used by Christ. Look for the beginning of the end in your relationships and ask God to use you in a mighty way.
Saw a friend the other day and we talked a lot. After lunch I took her hand and we walked.
It wasn't long before I know she started crying. I held her close, rocked her slow she felt like she was dying.
Lord I know she's hurting she looking for a way to ease the pain of life right now get thru another day. May I be a witness in all I say and do. And if she were to look at me may she always find You.
Late that night I got a call from my friend. I heard her say in a deep low voice "When will this ever end?"
I told her now might be time for her to say, " I surrender every thing Jesus You are the way."
Lord I know she's hurting she's looking for a way to ease the pain of life right now get thru another day.
May I be a witness in everything I do and if she were to look at me may she always find You.
Now I see my friend all the time at my church. I don't see her hurting. I don't see her have to search.
She has found the peace and love of Jesus Christ . Now she is so happy Jesus is her life.
