Their rock in whom they trust. Deut. 32:37
What season of life are you in? Do you walk the green hills and the low meadows? Is your world in control and everything in it fantastically perfect? Are fields of wild flowers dancing at your feet? Does the soft moss caress every toe like a velvet blanket?
Or is your way the way of a rough jagged rock? Do you stand at the edge of the cliff faced with insurmountable difficulties and feel you are loosing your foothold on life? Is life by it's very nature causing you to stumble in the darkness and bring tears for no apparent reason?
When tough times come it is hard to imagine anything good coming from it. But the grape does not become useful until it is squeezed. Then and only then does the sweetness come out.
Letting go and letting God take over during the worst and toughest times is hard. Turning to Christ for all of your life's needs doesn't put food on the table. Or does it?
When we trust Christ it removes the boulders and allows the blessings to flow.I will not stand at your side and quote scriptures. I will tell you from personal experience that when we trust with all our heart God moves beyond what the eye can see and the heart believe.
In fact, God already has an escape route already placed into action.
Let us not forget that worry is a sin. Doubt is a sin. Unbelief is a sin. Resisting Christ in our worst times eliminates God's best.Trusting in God's name, believing in all your heart He is who He says He is will bring deliverance from the trials. It will put your feet on solid ground, will smooth out the jagged rock and make your crooked road straight.
Trust and obey
is more than just a song.
It is what I will cling to
when all seems wrong.
When doubt and worry
comes knocking
and is standing
at my door
I will not let them in
But I will knock it to the floor.
For God is who He says He is
and I shall never doubt.
I will turn my trials into triumph
and give a Hallelujah shout.
