The life will give thee Jer.45:5
What would you say would stand forever and be your greatest discovery? Would you say the cure for cancer would immortalize your name? Would it be something beyond the amazing super highway of the internet?
What if you developed a pill that gave life to all mankind for eternity? Or how about an indescribable peace? There is something that is a greater discovery than all of these things.
The discovery of Christ is the very moment when you become a part of God's great plan of redemption. In that very moment your name is written in the book of eternity. You move from having a finite existence of the material to the infinite reality of the eternal.
Getting into that right relationship with Christ will give you life. An everlasting life that will never end. A life that re-unites you with loved one's gone before you. Of all the things you could ever attain it is the only worthwhile discovery that will last forever.
On a personal note I discovered Christ 33 years ago. I had heard the teaching and had multiple messages about Christ spoon fed to my veins by a gifted Pastor from Dallsas Seminary. After every message he would have us close our eyes and speak to our hearts. I repeatedly heard the words, " You may be here today and what I have taught today does not apply to you because you have never asked Christ into your heart. So in the quietness of this moment you don't have to walk an asile or raise a hand. You just have to acknowledge Christ as your Savior and you will recieve the free gift of eternity."
So one day I heard the words that I had heard so many times before and realized he was talking to me. That was the day Christ became my greateast discovery.
Each one has that moment
when we must finally decide
if Jesus is the truth
or just another lie.
May He become the discovery
that changes your lifes plans.
And you will have eternity
and the precious touch of His hand.
