May I Be A Witness

As I look back on my journey since my "Mad Man" moment I have to ask myself how did I get here? On December 24th of 2005 I was running around the house like mad man. I went to every window and rejected Satan out and asked Christ back into my life. I had a Holy Ghost, I am coming into your life, experience and I have been writing the words ever since.

Today I have a vibrant intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father. Why did it take me so long to allow God to invade my heart? Why is Jesus the last one we will become intimate with?
I have always been a slow starter and a strong finisher. But it all goes down to completely vacating myself and giving God the keys to my house.

Before my complete surrender I knew God, I served God but I did not know Him intimately. Not until I abandoned my all and gave Him my everything did this happen. Now, when I walk into a room ,I want to leave impressions of Jesus and not of me. No longer is my life about me.
Now it is to leave a strong, calm understanding that my Jesus will provide abundantly. My Jesus
has my heart and my Jesus is the answer to every human condition.

Saw a friend the other day and we talked a lot.
After lunch I took her hand and we walked.
It wasn't long before I know she started crying.
I held her close, rocked her slow,
she felt like she was dying.

Lord I know she's hurting,
she's looking for a way,
to ease the pain of life right now
get through another day.

May I be a witness in all I say and do
and if she were to look at me
may she always find You.

Late that night I got a call from my friend.
I heard her say in a deep low voice
" When will this ever end?"
I told her now might be the time
for her to say, " I surrender everything
Jesus you are the way."

Lord I know she's hurting
she's looking for a way.
To ease the pain of life right now
get through another day.

May I be a witness in all I say and do
and if she were to look at me
may she always find You.

Now I see my friend all the time
at my church.
I don't see her searching.
I don't see her ever hurt.
She has found the peace and love
of Jesus Christ.
Now she knows my Jesus
And He is her life.
