I Am A M. asterpiece

For You Were Made In My Image. Gen. 1:27

Every once in a while, due the stress of life, I get a canker sore. You know what I mean. It usually is at the worst of times. Even though that mark rests on just a small section of my body it always feels like I am a huge walking canker sore.

If we are not careful our Christian walk can look like a canker sore. We listen to the enemy and walk defeated. We think all about ourselves and not about others. In fact we do all we can to avoid others. We operate as if we are not worthy when in reality God created a masterpiece. So I have to ask myself what image am I sending out? Do people see me or do they see the image of Christ?

Any true masterpiece attracts attention. Any true masterpiece receives publicity and draws people to it. There is a certain sense of incredibility. As a child of the King I have to remind myself how special I am. If I really believe I was made in God's own image I have to reflect that beauty, that wonderstruct reflection every day. So today I am going to be a masterpiece.

If I could be a masterpiece
if only just today,
I'd draw people to me
and when I hear them say,

"Ah what a beauty,
a really precious one"
I would tell them
it is not I they see
but Jesus Christ
the Son.
