Are You Weary?

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The creator of the ends of the earth,Neither faints or is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He gives strength. Isaiah 40: 28,29

One of the hardest jobs on earth these days is single parenthood. It is flat out difficult. For who cares for the mother or father when they are sick? Who holds their hand and soothes their heart? Who listens to their problems and carries their burdens.

Often times they choose to isolate their afflictions rather then share the burden with another.But my ear hears their hurts and carries their burden. God's people must reach in to ask ourselves what can we do and then reach out to those around us.

That is why fellowship is so important. It slices the anxieties of the broken hearted in two and with prayer wash's all the weariness away. You want to earn a crown in heaven then reach just one single parent today. Carry their money woes, their worries to the cross in prayer. Unleash the Holy Spirit with God's promises. Help them look to Jesus with persevering faith and then sit back and here God whisper " Well done good and faithful servant."

I know it's been tough
and you've had it so rough
and at times your struggles get old.

The days fade to night
and it does not seem right
and there are moments
you just want to fold.

But you can't your a mother.
And you look for a brother,
someone to be there each day.

But I do know my friend
God will be there to the end
and he will always make a way.

If my hands were there I'd hold you.
If my heart was there we'd sing.
We would praise the name of Jesus
cuz He gives us everything.

I would carry you to Heaven
with each thought in captive prayer.
If we were just together
then Jesus would be there.

There are times I now that you're lonely.
There are times I'm sure
you are sad.
I am sure in you're heart
when you think of it.
You are one step away from mad.

But in these precious moments
just remember this my friend.
That Jesus is there beside you
and will be to the end.
