joy that a man is born into John 16:21
Would anybody argue with me that a birth is the beginning of a miracle? With that being said, would anybody argue that a rebirth is also a miracle. Each have their stamp of a miraculous act written all over it.
So when did our lives become all about us? When did our priorities shift? When did we loose sight of Christ and replace Him with our worthless worldly pursuits? When did we take our eyes off of Jesus and move our hearts off the cross?
Let the world that is lost without Christ see you abiding in Him, adoring Jesus and wearing the agony of the cross. Let us strive to be the miracle that was freely given and show your citizenship of Heaven.
Before it is too late reach one, tell one and touch one. Before it is too late begin the miracle, tell your story and pray for opportunities to speak. Begin the process of regeneration with your neighbor, your co-worker or your soul mate. Be bold in Christ and change some one's life.
Remember that nothing in and of ourselves that we do or say will save a soul. We cannot do the work of the Holy Ghost. But we can be a witness, tell our story and capture their attention and be a part of a miracle.
It started with a miracle
As the family celebrated.
The day was marked
The children danced
Even time was dated.
But some where Lord the laughter stopped
And then my voice grew quiet.
The world and all of it's temptations
Became my steady diet.
But now my Lord
My heart has stopped
And all I want is You.
May the things I say
And the words I speak
Be nothing but Your truth.
